We consistently strive to earn the trust of our patients and their families, our network partners, and our teammates.
We grow together—as a company and as individuals.
We act like owners and take pride in our work.
Our vision and impact goes beyond ourselves and so must our actions.
As a kid from India, I was on a path to become a doctor following my sense of duty to care for those that needed it most. When I came to the US, I fell in love with computers and I discovered the opportunity to improve healthcare through the lens of innovation and technology.
I became a registered nurse to bring care to the underserved, working hands-on in emergency rooms, homeless shelters, and on the street in Boston. However, I saw firsthand the ways our healthcare system wasn’t meeting the needs of those I cared for, clinical or otherwise. I wanted to create change, so I left nursing to join the world of healthcare innovation.
We became friends in 2016, building the foundation of a technology-enabled primary care network together. We’d spend late nights bonding, Neil writing code and Cassie writing clinical playbooks. We built a lasting friendship, and discovered a shared sense of duty towards improving care as our life’s work. We agreed that healthcare isn’t just clinical: it extends into our communities and our homes, and it is built around trust.
From this friendship, we founded Pair Team in early 2019 to build the bridges between our care delivery system and the communities that support our most vulnerable patients. We are building the tools and operations to improve the wellbeing of our patients, reduce strain and burden on safety-net organizations, and recognize and compensate neighborhood organizations (such as shelters and food pantries) as care providers in the healthcare system.
